Sol Rauch has an extensive background in the aerospace industry culminating in his retirement from CMC Electronics Inc. (formerly Canadian Marconi Company). His career involved design, system engineering, program management, product/market/business development and he managed profitably the Avionics Division with sales of $90M. He has developed several businesses within CMC, and one in particular has earned more than $1B in revenue and is still going strong.
Since his retirement from CMC he has supported a variety of companies, many being start-ups, with business development, engineering and program management services. He also serves on the Defense Science Advisory Board that provides independent views on defense issues to the Department of National Defense. He is a graduate electrical engineer with an M.Eng and holds several patents to his name.
